SeaFest, Cedarvale and FolkQuest

Busy, Busy.....Jamming outside Cowpuccino's for Seafest lastweekend and Cedarvale Festival and FolkQuest this weekend. We played Friday night under the shadow of the Seven Sisters and then raced to PG for FolkQuest Saturday night. Well, I came in second place...but what a weird night for me. Iwas a little confused. I was told by several competitors that the contest was only for PG people, the MS for the evening kept referring to how amazing the PG Talent was and then in MC's intro for me referred to the fact that I visited Prince George frequently as if it was a justification for me being in the contest. I was left feeling that I was in the contest by mistake. Anyhooo! It was a fun night...heard lots of good emerging talent. Check out this guy...he was awsome! www.colinpearson.com . Landing in second place I got an invite to play at the opening PG FolkQuest Event with Gordie Tentrees and FreeFlow. I guess I will have to meet my idol Sarah Harmer through my own efforts. Next weekend Midsummer Festival.
