Well, I did not make the Folk Fest Kickoff....van broke down. It's the age-old story of the traveling musician. What a complete disappointment. Moving on from that disappointment to a more pleasant topic, I am at the 40 day mark to self-employment. Unfortunately I can't enjoy this fact too much, as we are in the middle of the 'salmon-rush'. The past few nights I have not been home before 10:30 pm. This summer I am enjoying the eccentricities of this industry.
Today's chuckle: Regarding Paperwork
Location: 10:00am in office
Office: Do you have your paperwork done?
Fishermen: Yes I do
Office: Can you get it for me once you are done taking out your garbage?
Fishermen: Oh this is not garbage...I have the paperwork right here.. (Fishermen reaches into large black garbage bag he is carrying that contains: 1 beer, paperwork and dirty laundry)
I love this place!!!
